Did you see that USA Today is railing against cable companies’ set top box rental rates? Here’s what the USA Today editorial in the El Paso Times said:
Many subscribers have no choice but to rent a set-top box from their cable provider, paying a staggering $231 a year on average . . . .
That’s just a little more than the EPISD bond will cost the average El Paso homeowner.
Staggering.
Well, that’s certainly one way to look at it, Richi. I recently cut the cord, and no longer have either cable or satellite, so here I was thinking I was going to save money. The good news is I do not live within the boundaries of EPISD.
