Sales tax receipts for the latest available reporting period (presumably the month of October) grew 1.8% compared to the same period last year, while inflation ran 1.7%, which means that in real terms, sales tax receipts grew one tenth of one percent.
For the year to date, sales tax returns have grown 3.52%, which translates into 1.82% real growth.
