Tomorrow is Primary Election Day. On the ballot are lots of candidates vying for lots of positions.
You’ve never heard of most of these candidates. Maybe you’ve seen a flyer for some. Maybe not.
Just because you’re in the voting booth doesn’t mean you have to cast a vote in every race. If you don’t have a clear reason to vote for a candidate, skip it. Leave it blank. Let the more informed voters make the decision for you.
I encourage you to educate yourself to make an informed decision, but if you don’t know, don’t vote.
I typically don’t vote in uncontested races unless I want to show support for the incumbent, but that doesn’t happen very much.
Remember, no decision is better than a bad decision.
