Don’t Forget to Undervote

Tomorrow is Primary Election Day. On the ballot are lots of candidates vying for lots of positions.

You’ve never heard of most of these candidates. Maybe you’ve seen a flyer for some. Maybe not.

Just because you’re in the voting booth doesn’t mean you have to cast a vote in every race. If you don’t have a clear reason to vote for a candidate, skip it. Leave it blank. Let the more informed voters make the decision for you.

I encourage you to educate yourself to make an informed decision, but if you don’t know, don’t vote.

I typically don’t vote in uncontested races unless I want to show support for the incumbent, but that doesn’t happen very much.

Remember, no decision is better than a bad decision.
