Do you ever shop at Albertson’s?
I only shop there sometimes. I run in for a bottle of wine, maybe, or some chicken wings when Claire is at work, or maybe something exotic, like radicchio or capers, when Sprouts is too far, but, usually I shop at Food King, or Vista, or the Ocho Grande.
But I went the other night for grapefruit juice. Through some perverse economic circumstance, grapefruit juice is cheaper at Albertson’s.
You run into a different crowd at Albertson’s.

And one of that different crowd let me know, right there by the cold cuts, that Gerald Cichon, the Chief Executive Officer of the Housing Authority of the City of El Paso, is moving to Washington, D.C., to serve in some unspecified function in the new government.
Rumor has it.
