Yesterday I took Paul and Julie to Juarez.
Julie and Paul, married for 52 years, are ballroom dancers from southern Illinois. Beside the usual and unusual sights, they wanted to dance.
The Cuatrero doesn’t allow photographs. Too many patrons dancing with someone other than their wives. But Paul requested a couple of songs, and the dancers cleared the floor.
Who knew that the way you say cha cha in Spanish is cha cha cha?
Everyone clapped when Paul and Julie stopped dancing. I was a hero by association.
