They say they shot some of this movie near El Paso.
I haven’t seen it. Lemme know.

My son wanted to see it, and yep, the first act was set in El Paso in year 2029, but very little if any seemed to be shot here. The portrayal of El Paso was not good. No spoiler alerts here. Logan (wolverine) is attacked by a gang of “cholos” in the very opening scenes while parked somewhere on the “54”. It does not end well for the cholos. Then Logan – hiding incognito as a futuristic Uber driver living near El Paso – drives drunk people around our future town – in one scene a group of white frat boys taunt immigrants crossing the bridge with taunts of “USA! USA!” The rest of the scenes set here involved pleading Mexicans in ratchet motels and strange abandoned buildings in the desert outside of town. I was ready to leave El Paso by the end
