Excellent points. I have to agree…why wait until NOW to repave streets when the interest rates were so low a year ago? Again, clueless City Council sitting on their butts not thinking about expenses and Budgets. And, I am sure among all of those pages there is some fat to be cut or postponed.
Ballparks and water parks prioritized over road and existing park maintenance. I pay my utilities well before I consider remodeling. Our existing taxes generate sufficient funds for the proposed bond initiatives, which should have been priorities always-as called for.
I’m sorry to say that when I see ANY bond issue on the ballot anymore I vote against it. I’ve learned that the city counsel cannot manage money given them. I voted early and against both propositions as did my entire family.
