The Bill of Rights of the Constitution of the United States of America

From the aforementioned document:

First Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Fourth Amendment: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Fifth Amendment: No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

If any of you 2Aers aren’t appalled by the activities of the Federal Government in Portland, then I have to question your dedication to the Constitution.

You can’t be in favor of some of the rights for some of the people some of the time. That’s not how it works. You’re either all in, or your posers.

  1. Correct, sir. We are not only in serious danger from that son of a bitch of a failed businessman/con man, but we have no real representation from our duly elected Congress. And, the only way to change all of that is to turn out in yuuuuge numbers come November.

  2. Even though I’m very active with a gun rights advocacy group in El Paso, I don’t think I would call myself a “2Aer.” I’ve always been a staunch defender of all legitimate human rights. (Negative rights not positive rights).

Respectfully you don’t seem to know the liberty community well outside of Max Grossman. This post to me just comes off as ignorant about the demographic you’ve chosen to single out.

If there’s a group you should be looking to blame it would be the statists who guffawed over Barrack Obama who signed into law an authorization to detain American citizens without due process. Blame the statists of both the democrat party with their socialists and commies, blame the republicans for their corporatists and neocons, but don’t look to the 2A community, of whom are mostly libertarians as the people who deserve any part of the blame here. In my opinion the commies of Portland wanted more government and are now receiving what they asked for, thinking such use of force would be applied on people other then themselves.

I recall admonishing Beto for voting to put more power into President’s grasp, telling him how unwise and foolish he is to think the president will always be of his party. Moron had no clue what I was trying to convey to him was in the best interests of American liberals that government power be restrained.

    Anyway,

    Down with the empire.
    Restore the Republic.

    1. Both parties signed off on the Defense Authorization Act that gave the president the authority to hold American citizens without due process. I always thought that Obama insisted on that provision to cover his ass for something that was already happening.

I can’t shame the statists with their lack of action. With the 2Aers, I can use their supposed reverence for the Constitution as a wedge. The statists aren’t hypocrites. The 2Aers who tolerate or even encourage the Feds in Portland using anonymous paramilitary to force citizens into unmarked cars are hypocrites.

Like you. Communists don’t deserve Constitutional protection? Only people who think like you do should receive the benefit of our founding document? Maybe you should rethink you dedication to liberty.

The problem with politics is politicians.

      Always nice talking to you.

  3. This is the dumbest shit I have ever seen. Federal authorities have every right to make arrests. Provide some evidence of wrongdoing rather than just make vague claims based on Constitutional references. Your derogatory inference of “2Aers” belies your true intent, to simply lie about people you disagree with politically.

You are so full of shit it used to be funny. In reality you are a white person exercising an unearned privilege to write a Hispanic themed blog. The great white savior. You should be called to account using your own leftist rules, meaning canceled for cultural appropriation. You are either Hispanic with a white name or white with a white name.

If you are white you should voluntarily close this blog and open a new one named elrichiboy. Well that’s appropriating, too. Name it something white.

Unless you are just a hypocrite. In that case keep up the cultural appropriation.

    1. Officer Johnson,

Of course some federal authorities have the right to make arrests. Except when they don’t. Thanks for the lesson on constitutional law. It’s always nice to hear an informed opinion.

You sure seem to be hung up on race and ethnicity. Are you sure that you’re not a racist?

      Thanks for reading.

  4. i am not a democrat, so no history of racism. as you are aware, democrats have a long, violent racist history that they now wish to dissociate from. i also don’t consider i can assume false ethnicity, such as beto o’rourke and yourself, and use that to my benefit. you seem to have no such qualms. today you don’t. it will be interesting to see the future of cultural appropriation. any pictures of you in blackface?

    1. Tell me, Mr. Ingle, where you willing to draw the line on that list of the government complaints? Where are you willing to give up your civil liberties?

  5. I find it kind of amusing and somewhat incorrect to deploy federal agents to quell civil unrest (protect federal buildings) in inner cities. Some of those officers and agents were hired by the government and are paid by taxpayers to protect and patrol the international borders. Not get involved in local city matters. But, probably the ones deployed to these cities were the ones already lifting weights all day, and prepping the issued weapons everyday in some undisclosed location, instead of actually working along the border and international ports of entries, performing the actual duties they were hired and pay to do.
