I have a transformative branding concept for the City of El Paso. I mean it. It’s something we could all buy into, and it has the potential to generate immediate success and change the way El Pasoans think about themselves, and it aligns with the general worldwide public’s preconceptions about El Paso.
I mean it. It’s better than It’s All Good and You Have No Idea and Real Adventure and El Paso Up. (I don’t think I’m setting the bar too high when I say that.)
Okay, so how do I get paid for it? I mean, It’s All Good was worth $300,000, and the City paid $100,000 for You Have No Idea. I don’t want to give it away, because some people confuse cost with value. Plus, it would be nice to have the scratch.
It’s a real branding concept, and not some slapdash slogan that doesn’t mean very much that you can slap on t-shirts and coffee mugs and billboards in Northern New Mexico. But like all good branding concepts, it lends itself to messaging.
It might not be as good as the branding concept behind What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas, but it might be.
Anyone interested?
I’m VERY interested, but before anyone is going to pay you a lot of money you’ll have to move out of town and fly here once a month wearing a suit.
Somehow a cheap suit seems appropriate.
