This 4th of July Monday, the sidewalks of the Jalisco Cafe will once again be lined with tables of books. FREE BOOKS FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY! Books for mom & dad, children, fiction & non fiction, autobiographies, history, fantasy, you name it. Gently used books ready for your reading pleasure.
Your family is cordially invited to The Jalisco Cafe’s 6th [or 7th] Annual Segundo Barrio Books & Raspa Giveaway. Come and choose as many books as you like! And while you are at the Jalisco Cafe enjoy a complimentary raspa from the “Raspa Patrol”, Jalisco Cafe style. And yes, we will squirt extra syrup!
If you have a kid(s) bring them! If you don’t have a kid find one! EVERYONE INVITED! Come stock up on your FREE summer reading!
Hector Chavez, proprietor of the Jalisco Cafe has once again partnered with Books Santo Nino, El Paso’s non profit book society to bring this event to the Segundo Barrio. Books Santo Nino is a group of El Paso book lovers who love and want to share the printed word.
