I’m really concerned, Kathy. We can’t ignore it anymore. Gratefully, I’ll probably be dead before it gets a lot worse, but I have kids. In El Paso, it’s happening in a microcosm. Local government is looting the bank accounts of the taxpayers, some of whom are among the poorest people in the U.S., for the benefit of some oligarchs and developers who already have more money than they could spend in 100 lifetimes.
