Say you’ve got symptoms. Chills. Fever. Muscle aches.
Are you going to get tested?
The word on the street is that, to get a PCR test, you might have to wait in line for three hours. Three hours in line, in your car, with chills, fever, and muscle aches.
And then the results take three days.
I make that out to be four days, all told.
The CDC latest guidelines say you should isolate for five days after you first present symptoms. Five days because the economy needs bodies.
I’m thinking if you show symptoms you skip the test. Just say home for five days. Watch Netflix. Drink grapefruit juice. With tequila if you can talk your wife into going to the liquor store.
Who wants to stay in line for three hours?
