We’re Fourth (From the Bottom)

An alert reader just hipped me to this table from DQYDJ.com showing comparative rankings for metro areas in the U.S. Here the data is sorted by Average Individual Income, lowest to highest.

El Paso County comes in fourth, barely edging Farmington and Las Cruces.

It could be worse, but not much.

Check out the whole table here. It’s got some cool interactive features.

    1. The only other two All-American Cities on the list that aren’t part of larger metro areas are Fort Wayne, Indiana, with an average individual income of $55,640, and Kansas City, Missouri, with an average individual income of $57,960.
