It’s a Misdemeanor

Entering the United State illegally is a misdemeanor, like taking a sip of beer in the parking lot of a 7 Eleven. No child deserves to be ripped from their parents’ arms for a misdemeanor.

The United States justice system is based on the principal of proportional punishment. That is why we’re aghast at Sharia law. In the United States, we don’t chop someone’s arm off for shoplifting. We don’t stone people who commit adultery.

And we shouldn’t be in the business of breaking up families for a misdemeanor.

  1. 8 U.S. Code § 1325 – Improper entry by alien
    US Code

    (a) Improper time or place; avoidance of examination or inspection; misrepresentation and concealment of facts Any alien who (1) enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers, or (2) eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers, or (3) attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact, shall, for the first commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both, and, for a subsequent commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18, or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both.
A Federal Misdemeanor is NOT like taking a sip of a beer in the parking lot.
And no children have been ripped from mothers’ arms- I know that’s whats reported but it turns out no one can prove it.

  2. The penalties you cited for a first time offender are consistent with those for a Class B Misdemeanor under Texas state law. So yeah, taking a sip of beer in a parking lot is only a Class C Misdemeanor. But a Class B Misdemeanor is still only a misdemeanor. Like a Federal Misdemeanor is still only a misdemeanor.

    1. Yes, It is a Federal Misdemeanor. And when you repeat the offense its a Federal Felony. These aren’t traffic tickets. They aren’t parking tickets. The offense is breaching the boundary of the U.S. And no we can’t compare it to other countries because we are allegedly “superior”. Honestly to really understand the problem, you would need to spend a week with the CBP. Listen to what these poor, fleeing creatures tell them. Watch what the kids say and how they act around their “parents”. Then try to converse with the group of 20 or 30 young men who don’t speak Spanish or any derivative. But they do speak Arabic or Pashtun or Farsi.

  3. It’s the heat. People around here lose their shit and hallucinate when the thermometer busts 100. Just the other day I thought I saw a highly ethical, physically fit and professional border patrol agent talking to a group of migrant kids speaking Pashtun. Ice cold Budweiser usual cures it.

    1. It was Pashtun. And some of the adults were speaking Farsi. All claimed to be from Honduras.

      1. Budweiser is still on sale. $13.99 for an 18 pack. Bottles or cans. Get yourself one. Put it in the freezer just long enough for it to be frosty cold. Drink four or five and get down to the port of entry. The CBP agents will be rude, fat dumb kids again and the Border crossers will all be speaking Spanish. Trust me on this. It works every time.
