El Paso Home Building Is At An Historical Low

From a story on Governing.com:

In about 62 percent of the cities reviewed, 2018 permitting totals exceeded their averages over the prior 10-year period. All of the largest cities over a half million exceeded their averages with the exceptions of Detroit, El Paso and Milwaukee.

That is some elite company El Paso keeps.

Our City Government can brag about the renaissance. But the Emperor is naked.

When you’re in a hole, stop digging.

  1. Do you suppose the home builders are cutting the supply of new homes (somebody quit digging) because demand is so darn high? This is got to be great for home prices. Right? We live in Orwellian times, my friend.
