Author: John Mulhouse

While studying botany in Georgia in 2003, John Mulhouse became captivated by the abandoned architecture of the South and began publishing photographs and history on his blog, City of Dust. Since 2009, he has largely devoted his efforts to documenting ghost towns of the Southwest. In addition to co-authoring scientific papers on wetland and desert plant ecology, John has compiled all the non-historical writing from his blog into an anthology, “A Loss for Words & Other Stories: Excerpts from 10 Years of City of Dust.” It has been lauded by eight people on Amazon.
